Dakota Ridge is accessed by a 14km gravel logging road. The road will be plowed, but 4x4 and chains are required. The road gets icy after heavy use and shoulders are often soft. Please use designated pull-outs for passing and for chain preparations. Everyone you see on the road is going to the same place. Let's all get there safely together.
Please consider carpooling. Free parking is available at the Sunshine Coast Regional District offices at the top of Field Road (just before you access the logging road to Dakota Ridge).
2025 Dakota Ridge User Fees are included in your registration. You do not need to purchase a day pass separately. Season pass holders should choose that option during registration and have your pass available on the loppet day. Dakota Ridge Nordic kids are automatically registered for kids events.
